Telex Receivers

Telex manufactures both a single channel and multichannel receivers. The model SR-50 single channel receiver provides clear reception and the simplicity of a fixed channel. This economical receiver operates on one of 16 fixed narrow-band frequencies in the 72-76 MHz band. Ergonomic raised volume control knob make level adjustments easily accessible by feel. Recessed headphone jack provides extra protection for earphone connections. Two AA batteries give up to 30 hours continuous battery life. This units is ideal for use in facilities that only have a single room to cover as it has one single fixed channel an therefore can only be used in one room at a time.

The SR-100 16 channel receiver features an advanced digital PLL synthesizer to tune all 16 narrow-band frequencies offered in the 72-76 MHz band. The receiver also includes a special high frequency contour filter and boost switch to increase the intelligibility of the audio signal. Additional features include a battery saving automatic power shutoff when the earphone is unplugged. The SR-100 receiver is ideal for use in facilities which have multiple rooms  as transmitters can be setup on different channels in adjacent rooms and the SR-100 receivers channels can be switched to the specific channel while a user moves from room to room.
