Infrared & Wired Receivers
We utilize infrared wireless receivers and wired channel selectors which work with the Philips DCN conference system.
The wireless infrared receivers are available in 2, 7 and 16 channel models with options for either disposable battery or rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery models can be charged in a 56 slot rapid or trickle recharger storage case or a 56 slot wall mounted charging rack. All receivers feature a one button power on switch with automatic power off.
The 16 channel receiver features a LCD display showing the active channel.
Also available as options are integrated channel selectors in DCN discussion and DCN standard microphones as well as standalone channel selectors which are available for table top use or flush mount. These devices connect anywhere in the DCN chain to provide wired interpretation reception. Any combination of wired and wireless receivers can be used at a time.
The infrared receivers allow attendees to carry a lightweight, rechargeable multichannel receiver, which features a digital channel indication and simple channel change and volume rocker switches. Either two ear headsets or single ear earphones can be accommodated offering comfort even for full day sessions.
