The DCN system integrates directly with a Philips Color Autodome camera and through external control from AMX or Crestron with many other third part PTZ cameras to provide camera steering from microphone control. When used with DCN Video Software under computer control the system can superimpose a database name associated with the microphone position with the video image.
The easy integration with video makes the DCN system ideal for use in legislative, videoconference or conference center applications. In a large roundtable setup the video image provided by the DCN system can be projected as well are recorded. The use of a dome type camera provides an operator free environment. The DCN system can support up to 6 dome or fixed cameras to ensure even the largest setups are properly covered.
